Rebuilding hockey and bringing hockey to the grassroots level is the reason for Junior hockey.
Junior Hockey, held every first quarter of the year, brings together young ones aged U13 and U11 from Kilifi, Kisumu, Kwale and Mombasa.
A Men’s and Women’s league encomapssing teams from the Mombasa County Hockey Association and upto including schools from Kwale and Kilifi County.
An initiative of the players by the players, the coast league was borne during the Covid-19 Era when players had to look for places to train and enjoy their hockey.
Through the National body, Kenya Hockey Union, MCHA has ventured into Beach Hockey. With the objective to become the Association spearheading Beach Hockey as a sports discipline under the National Olympic Committee of Kenya.
